Patient portal
Through your Carebit Patient Portal, you will be able to access all your letters and test results in one place, upload photos, and view all communications with the clinic—no more waiting for emails or scanned copies.
Your data is safeguarded with advanced encryption at every stage and SSL connections for access, offering the same level of security as online banking.
The portal can also connect patients with all parties involved in their care, from consultants and GPs to hospitals and dieticians. Easily share letters and test results with peace of mind, knowing all communications are securely transmitted and compliant.
Conditions we treat
Our clinic specialises in managing a wide range of allergic conditions for patients aged 18 and above. These include allergic rhinitis (such as pollen, pet, mould, and dust allergies), food and drug allergies, anaphylaxis, chronic spontaneous urticaria and angioedema (recurrent ‘hives’), bee and wasp venom allergies, latex allergy, atopic asthma, atopic eczema, and contact dermatitis (skin allergies).
Allergy testing
To ensure we deliver the best possible care, we collaborate closely with Highgate Hospital, combining their resources with our expertise. Our diagnostic services include:
Skin prick testing: For pollen and food allergies.
Skin prick-to-prick testing using fresh foodstuff: For food allergies.
Patch testing: For drug allergies and contact allergies.
Blood testing: Advanced molecular allergens and multiplex specific IgE immunoassays, such as the ImmunoCAP® ISAC test and the Allergy Xplorer (ALEX3) test.
Lung function testing: To assess respiratory health.
Confirmatory challenges: For drug and food allergies.
Specialised tests: Available through our partnership with Nuffield Health.
Treatments
If you’re living with hay fever, asthma, eczema, or anaphylaxis, we take a personalised approach to your care. Each patient receives a bespoke treatment plan tailored to their specific needs and symptoms. Depending on your condition, your plan may include:
Hay fever management: Antihistamines, nasal sprays, and eye drops to alleviate symptoms, and, when appropriate, disease-modifying options like sublingual allergen-specific immunotherapy for pollen, house dust mites, and pet dander.
Asthma care: Effective symptom management with inhalers, personalised asthma management plan, and guidance for long-term control.
Eczema treatment: Topical therapies to soothe and repair skin affected by atopic dermatitis.
Anaphylaxis preparation: Adrenaline auto-injectors provided and training to ensure you’re equipped to manage emergencies.
- Chronic sponteanous urticaria care: High-dose antihistamines, antileukotrienes and, when appropriate, biologic therapies designed to manage recurrent hives and angioedema effectively.
